Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have rescued the three missing girls of Capital's Pallabi who went missing on their way back from Cox's Bazar.

They were rescued from Gazipur, said RAB-4 captain Mozammel Hossain today.

The rescued students claimed that a woman named Mehzabin persuaded them. Their statements are being scrutinized.

Elder sister of one of the missing teenagers filed a complaint at Pallabi Police station, under the Women and Child Repression Prevention Act, against 10 people yesterday -- citing the names of four. She feared that the girls were trafficked abroad.

On September 30, three teenage friends -- aged between 16 and 18 -- left their homes in college uniforms without saying anything to their families. One of them took Tk 6 lakh in cash, another took 2.5 tola of gold and the other took Tk 75,000 and several mobile phones from their houses.
