Israel continues airstrikes in the Gaza Strip of Palestine. The attack, which has been going on since May 10, has so far killed 212 civilians. One footballer also died in the ongoing airstrikes.
The deceased was identified as Muath Nabil Al-Zaanin. Palestinian football federation has confirmed this information on its official Twitter page.

Muath was killed i Israeli airstrikes that hit Beit Banking his career saw him represent Ittihad Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, and Khadamat Jablia. The dream ended!! Moad lost his life during #Gaza bombing and we lost another young dreamer to become pro football player! He was only 23! May God rest your soul in peace! "
Hundreds of Palestinian families have fled their homes and taken refuge in a UN-run school in northern Gaza to escape Israeli attacks. According to the United Nations, Israel continues to carry out criminal attacks. As a result, at least 10,000 Palestinians have fled their homes so far.
