‘Padma Nadir Majhi’s ‘Kopila’ Roopa Ganguly contracts Covid-19

Roopa Ganguly, a BJP leader and a Tollywood actress who is famously known for her role ‘Kopila’ in the film ‘Padma Nadir Majhi’, has diagnosed with coronavirus.
She said her Covid-19 test result came positive on Thursday, April 15.
On Facebook, Roopa Ganguly wrote, “I also tested positive for Covid-19. Sorry friends.”
West Bengal, India is busy with assembly elections. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was infected with the Covid-19. Before this, he campaigned in the state more than once. Roopa Ganguly took part in that campaign. Shortly after this, she reported her Covid-19 infection.
Roopa Ganguly has acted in many popular movies in her acting career. However, she got a huge response by playing the role of ‘Kopila’ in the movie ‘Padma Nadir Majhi’ opposite of Raisul Islam Asad who played the role of ‘Kuber’. The film was directed by Goutam Ghose and the story by Manik Bandopadhyay.
