Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir who had shocked the entire cricket when he opted to bid farewell to international cricket last December has reportedly agreed to withdraw his retirement if there is a new management in place of the country's cricket board.
“I will approach the board myself and tell them that I am available if there is a new management in place. I don’t think that the issues with current management will be resolved now because mindset doesn’t change in a day." Amir was quoted as saying by Samaa TV.
Earlier, Amir responded and hit back at Misbah and Waqar for their roles in his early retirement.
"I was not dropped from the side because of my performance. What they [Misbah and Waqar] say on media is different from the actual facts,” said Amir as quoted by Cricket Pakistan.
