PM’s good news for Tigers

Bangladesh is performing very well in the World Cup. Tigers saved the hopes semi-final playing beating Afghans yesterday. Bangladesh’s cricket-friendly Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is very excited following such performance of Tigers.
Appreciating the achievement of the team, the Prime Minister said that, “The facilities for cricketers will be further increased.”
The Premier made this remark while she was in the ‘National Economic Council Executive Committee’ (ECNEC) meeting held in the NEC conference room in capital's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar on Tuesday.
During the ECNEC meeting, the issue of the victory of Tigers against Afghanistan came about while the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina praised Shakib-Mashrafe.
She said “Cricketers are playing for the country. Shakib-Mashrafe's performance in increasing the status of Bangladesh in the world court. So their facilities will be increased.”
Besides, the Prime Minister instructed Abdur Rauf Talukdar to make a fund so that players can get training all year round. She also instructed to make fund not only for cricket but all other sports including football too.
