PM made office at Armed Forces Division

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made the first office at the Armed Forces Division in her office after taking oath as the head of government for the fourth time.

On Sunday morning, paying tribute to the memory of the martyrs of Bangladesh Armed Forces, she placed wreaths to Shikha Anirban (Shikha Chironton) in Dhaka Cantonment.

Chief Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division Lt Gen Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman, OSP, RCDDS, NDC, AFWC, PSC, PhD and Director General of the Armed Forces Division welcomed the Prime Minister on arrival at her office situated at Dhaka Cantonment at 10:20 am.

PM's Security Adviser Major General Tariq Ahmed Siddique, RCDS, PSC (retired) was present at the time.

 

Earlier, when Sheikh Hasina arrived at Shikha, Anirban, chiefs of the three forces and the Principal Staff Officers of the Armed Forces welcomed her. During this, a squared team of the Armed Forces gave a guard of honor to the Prime Minister. After paying tribute, the Prime Minister signed the inspection book preserved in Shikha Anirban.

Later, the chiefs of the three forces and the Principal Staff Officers of the Armed Forces met with Prime Minister at her Armed Forces office.

Later on, the Prime Minister met the Tea Chakra after exchanging views with the officers of the Armed Forces Division and other officials of her office at the Multi-Purpose Hall.
