PM is the charioteer of landless and homeless people: Palak

Zunaid Ahmed Palak handed over land deeds and house keys to 60 landless and homeless families in Natore
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has become the charioteer of the landless and homeless people following the path of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
He made the remarks after handing over land deeds and house keys to 60 landless and homeless families in Singra, Natore on Saturday morning.
On the occasion of Mujib Year, the government has planned to give land and houses to 9 lakh landless and homeless people of the country. And the implementation of the plan started with the guidance of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said Palak.
The United Nations has set an index of sustainable development worldwide following the philosophy of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman 49 years ago. The government is working for the development of the people by determining their needs. We will be able to fulfil the dream of building a happy and prosperous digital Bangladesh by improving the quality of life of all, he added.
Under the efficient leadership of Sheikh Hasina, we are very close to building Bangabandhu’s ‘Sonar Bangla’. All the landless and homeless families of the country are being given houses with land ownership, he remarked.
Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the handing over 65,726 houses to landless and homeless families through a video conference from Ganobhaban on Saturday.
Natore Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Ashraful Islam, UNO MM Samirul Islam of Singra and others were present at the time.
