Prashant Kumar Haldar alias PK Haldar
Prashant Kumar Haldar alias PK Haldar, former managing director (MD) of NRB Global Bank and Reliance Finance Limited, has fled through Benapole land port in Jashore instead of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
The higher authorities of the immigration police informed this to Attorney General's Office. The High Court bench headed by Justice Md. Nazrul Islam Talukder will hear the matter on March 15.
Deputy Attorney General AKM Amin Uddin Manik confirmed this to media. He said PK Haldar left the country on October 23, 2019, at 3:48 pm. He used a Bangladeshi passport while leaving the country.
Earlier, the High Court had questioned PK Haldar's flee on February 15. The court wants to know how he flees even after his passport was confiscated. At the same time, the court also asked to submit a list of those who were in charge of immigration at the airport and who was in charge of the ACC during PK Halder's leaving country.
