The sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was suspended on March 4 due to coronavirus.

Before the suspension, 14 PSL matches were held. There are 20 matches left including play-off. Considering the situation, the PSL was supposed to start again on Pakistani soil from June 1. The organizers also fixed the day for the restart of the matches of the tournament.

But as the situation worsened, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was worried about the rest of the PSL matches. However, there is a possibility of organizing the rest of the PSL matches outside Pakistan. The rest of the matches may be held in the UAE.

Though no final decision has been made yet, the PCB has come a long way in discussing the remaining 20 matches of the PSL in the UAE. According to a source, the PCB has already discussed with the Emirates Cricket Board about hosting the rest of the PSL matches in the UAE.

The participating teams have requested that the remaining matches of the PSL be held in the UAE. The PSL Governing Council will sit in a virtual meeting again in this regard.
