Then police rushed to the spot to normalize the vehicle movement during the time the protesters threw bricks and brickbats at the police. Police fired teargas shells to bring the situation under control. A number of people, including Zuma Uddin, were injured in the incident. The injured were rushed to Panchagarh Modern Sadar Hospital and Zuma Uddin died while under treatment there.
