Oman captain Zeeshan Maqsood has won the toss and decided to bat at the last match of the First Round Group B of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 against Scotland.

The match will start at 8:00 pm on Thursday at Al Amerat Cricket Stadium in Oman and will be aired by T Sports and Gazi TV.

Scotland showed surprise by defeating Bangladesh in their first match. Although they defeated Papua New Guinea in the next match, their Super 12 round is not confirmed yet as the run rate is low. As Oman’s run rate is high, the Scots will leave the tournament if they lose this match.

On the other hand, Oman got off to a good start by defeating newcomer Papua New Guinea in their first match. Although they lost to Bangladesh in the next match, they are in an advantageous position in terms of run rate. As a result, the hosts will go to the next round if they win today’s match by a minimum margin.
