The Jatiya Oikyafront has proposed to form a 10-member non-partisan advisory council in the dialogue with the Prime Minister. Under the council, they demanded to hold the next parliamentary election.
The top leader of the Oikyafront Dr Kamal Hossain presented this proposal in the dialogue to the Prime Minister. An Awami League policymaker, who is reluctant to disclose his names, confirmed this information.
The sources also said, among other proposals of the Oikyafront in the dialogue-- the release of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, the dissolution of the parliament and the reconstitution of the Election Commission.
Earlier this dialogue began at 11:00 pm at the Prime Minister’s official residence Ganobhaban.
