Officials have to reach farmers’ doors: Abdur Razzak

The Agriculture Minister Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzak directed today to the field officials to go to the farmers’ house by house.
He gave the order while giving the award for the successful implementation of the Annual Performance Agreement (APA) in the Secretariat on Sunday.
The minister said that the officials have to know what kinds of crops the farmers want to cultivate and their production target. For this the Deputy Assistant Agricultural Officers at the field level will have to go houses of the farmers in the purpose of providing the necessary support.
He said the success of the sector is being appeared as the work of the Ministry of Agriculture is continuing. “My village, my city” means that the natural form of rural Bengal will be maintained and the city's facilities reach the village which is the pledge of our government.
Mr. Abdur Razzak said that the present government will implement the program of upgrading every village in level of the city by giving all the facilities of a modern city.
