General holiday won’t be extended further
Offices resume from May 31

The ongoing general holiday will not be extended further. However, from May 31 to June 15, everyone must work in office maintaining proper hygiene.
State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain said this on Wednesday. He added that a notification in this regard will be issued on Thursday.
State Minister Farhad Hossain said, “I have received the notification signed by the Prime Minister a while ago. Due to the outbreak of coronavirus in the country, the government holiday has been extended several times since March 26, but this time the holiday will not be extended after May 30.”
He added that all government, semi-government offices will open from May 31. However, private vehicles will run until June 15 in accordance with the health issues. Public transport, rail and passenger vessels will not run. However, private airlines will be able to start flying under their own management.
