The students of English medium schools do not want to give ‘O’ and ‘A’ level examinations in coronavirus situation as they have demanded to give grade on the basis of evaluating the classes.

The students of various English mediums in the capital staged a human chain in front of the National Press Club on Sunday.

According to the students, the British Council has announced that the 'O' and 'A' level examinations will be conducted from the first week of October. But in the coronavirus situation the students are not ready for the exam. Nevertheless, many students are at risk of contacting coronavirus disease if they appear in the exams.

At this time, the agitators demanded for ensuring no examinations in coronavirus situation and to give grade through sample test.

The students also told  in the human chain that no one would get the expected result by taking the examination amid covid-19.
