Main congregation of Eid held at Baitul Mukarram
‘O Allah, make the whole world free from coronavirus’

The first congregation of Eid has been held at the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram. After performing Eid Salat, prayers were made seeking Allah’s grace for the salvation from coronavirus epidemic.
'O Allah, grant healing to those who have been infected with the coronavirus. You protect Bangladesh from this virus, forgive us. Forgive people all over the world. The first congregation of Eid-ul-Azha was held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the capital at 7:00 am on Monday. Senior Imam of Baitul Mukarram Hafez Mufti Maulana Mizanur Rahman offered the congregation. Hafez Kari Masudur Rahman, the muezzin of the mosque, acted as the Mukabbir.
The pilgrims of the National Mosque performed Eid prayers while maintaining social distance, following hygiene rules to prevent coronavirus infection. As a result, no one was seen shaking hands or hugging at the end of the prayers.
After that prayers, munajat were held for the welfare of the country and the nation. As well as prayers have recently been made for those infected with the coronavirus. Prayers have been prayed for protection from any danger in the country.
Five more Eid Jamaats were held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in phases. The second congregation was held at 7:50 am, the third congregation at 8:45 am, the fourth congregation at 9:35 am and the fifth congregation will be held at 10:30 am and the sixth and last congregation at 11:10 am.
