Nurse Runu ready to receive 1st Covid-19 vaccine afternoon

Runu Beronica Costa, a senior staff nurse at Kurmitola General Hospital in Dhaka, will be the first to be vaccinated. Besides, medicine consultant Dr. Ahmed Lutfar Mobin also took the first vaccine as a doctor.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the vaccination program through a video conference on Wednesday afternoon. On the first day, 25 people will be vaccinated against coronavirus.
From this event, registration activities will be launched through the mobile app and web application of the ‘Suraksha’ platform of vaccination management. Everyone who wants to get vaccinated needs to register online.
Preparations are underway to vaccinate 400 to 500 people in five hospitals in Dhaka from Thursday. Vaccination activities will start across the country on February 7.
Covid-19 vaccines will be given in five hospitals in the capital. The hospitals are – Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Kurmitola General Hospital, Mugda General Hospital and Kuwait Maitree Hospital.
