Notification issued extending restrictions

A gazette notification has been issued extending the ongoing nationwide lockdown till 12:00 am on August 10 (Tuesday), considering the current Covid-19 pandemic situation.
Cabinet Division issued the notification in this regard on Thursday.
According to the notification, all public and private offices, mass transports and shops will remain closed during this time, but industries, factories will remain out of the purview of the restrictions.
The domestic flight will remain in operation by following the corona health guidelines, said the government order.
People will stay at home during the restrictions unless any necessary, it added.
Earlier, Minister for Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque told reporters at the Secretariat after a virtual inter-ministerial meeting on Tuesday that the ongoing nationwide lockdown has been extended for another five days (until August 10). All types of government and private offices, shops and shopping malls will reopen from August 11. Public transports could ply the roads on a limited scale.
