No restriction on presence of employees in govt offices

State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain has said that there is no restriction on the presence of 25 percent of employees in government offices. The number of attendees will be decided by the concerned office head from now, he added.
He provided the information at the secretariat on Monday noon.
The State Minister said that coronavirus infections and mortality rate are not upward. In addition to dealing with the deadly virus, importance is being given to the livelihood of the people by following the health rules. However, the restriction on public movements has been extended till August 31. The government will take the next decision considering the situation.
Earlier, a cabinet division circular issued in this regard states that the government has extended the restriction on public movements amid the Covid-19 pandemic till August 31.
According to the circular, no one is allowed to go out of their houses without an emergency from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am. Legal action will be taken against those who do not wear masks while outside, maintain social distance or follow any other health guidelines. Shops and markets must have temperature scanners, handwashing facilities and sanitizers at their entrance, and shut down within 8:00 pm.
Public transports will also remain operational during this time following proper health guidance. The directives to keep the educational institutes close will be given by the ministry or divisions concerned.
