No more than 25 percent of officials of various ministries and departments can hold office. And those who are sick, they will work at home, said State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain on Monday.
The ministries have been informed that only essential works can be done at the moment, said the State Minister. “In that case, one-fourth, i.e. 25 percent or one-fifth or 20 percent of the officers will be present.”
Farhad Hossain said those who are sick will work at home. They will not come to the office. This is how we arranged so that no one is infected here.
We have opened the government offices with restrictions to a limited extent, he said, adding, “Many private, semi-government, autonomous organizations were shut down. Our 18 ministries have been running to a limited extent so far.”
“On the first day on Sunday at the Secretariat, we maintained the way we said old officers would not come, sick and childbearing women officers would not come,” he added.
“We have forbidden those who are living in risky places from coming,” said the State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain, adding, “They did not come. Besides, no pass will be issued during these 15 days so that visitors cannot enter the Secretariat.”
