The activities of BNP leaders and activists in the long-running faction have come to a standstill in Feni. Senior leaders don't care about anyone. So there is no chain of command in the party, party activists alleged.

During the 2014 parliamentary elections, Khaleda Zia's younger brother Saeed Eskander led the district BNP. But during his tenure, the level of grouping took an intense shape. Saeed Eskander formed committees in different areas including Feni Sadar, Pashuram, Phulgazi, Chhagalnaiya, Daganbhuiyan, Sonagazi. But the sacrificing leaders of Feni were neglected.

After the death of Saeed Eskander, BNP joint secretary general Mohammad Shahjahan tried to take the helm of the party on the instructions of Khaleda Zia. But he could not form a proper committee even after taking initiatives more than once.

Once Khaleda Zia herself was in charge of the entire district. She was at ease with former MP Mosharraf Hossain and VP Joynal. After Musharraf's death, VP Joynal became alone.

Several leaders and activists of the party, who did not want to be named, said that so far Khaleda Zia's advisor Professor Joynal Abedin could not be found in her area.

Political analysts in Feni think that if the grouping continues like this, the party's activities will become more untenable.

Former Sonagazi Upazila BNP general secretary Shamsuddin Khokon said the organization was weakened due to internal disputes.

Former general secretary of the district BNP Zia Uddin said, there must be some minor problems in the big party like BNP. Not everyone can be made happy anymore.
