Indian-controlled Jammu and Kashmir has seen the highest number of Indian troops killed in recent shootings with separatists.

The separatists have been shelling Indian security forces at Poonch district since last Monday, killing nine Indian soldiers so far, but none of the separatists have been killed, Indian media reported.

Under such circumstances, the Indian security forces have intensified counter-terrorism operations in the region. They have started another big operation at Nar Khas forest area from Saturday morning.

No gunmen were killed in the raid, but several civilians, including two workers, were reported killed. Their home is said to be in Uttar Pradesh, India.

Jammu and Kashmir Police Chief Vijay Kumar said, "Our security forces conducted raids in some places on the basis of secret information." However, the terrorists fled earlier. We destroyed a three-story building.

He added that it was a little late to start the campaign. And with that opportunity, the terrorists fled. The campaign continues.

Meanwhile, the bodies of two army members were recovered 48 hours after they went missing during the operation. Army patrols have been intensified in various parts of Kashmir as militant activity has increased.

The Jammu highway has been closed since last Thursday. Various organizations have been waging an armed movement for a long time demanding independence of Kashmir. The Indian security forces have been conducting operations at various times calling them separatists.

New Delhi claims that these organizations are carrying out terrorist activities with the help of Pakistan. However, Islamabad has denied the allegations from the beginning.
