Night temperature may fall in next 72 hours

As an outlook for the next 72 hours, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday predicted: "Night temperature may fall at the end period." 

The Met Office also forecasted that weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today. 

Besides, moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country and light to moderate fog may occur at places elsewhere over the country during midnight to morning, according to a Met office release issued this morning.  

Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the release added. 

Country’s maximum temperature was recorded yesterday by 32.0 degree Celsius at Sitakunda under Chattogram division and the minimum temperature today was recorded by 11.6 degree Celsius jointly at Srimangal in Sylhet division and Badalgachhi in Rajshahi division.

Today’s sunset at Dhaka at 05:28 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise at 06:43 am.
