Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country in the next 24 hours ending tomorrow 9:00 am, said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) that issued a weather bulletin on Saturday morning.

According to BMD weather bulletin, mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rajshahi and rest part of Rangpur divisions and the regions of Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Goplaganj, Satkhira, Jashore, Khushtia, Srimongal, Bhola and Barisal and it may continue.

However, a severe cold wave is sweeping over Panchagarh district.

In the meantime, weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.

Besides, light to moderate fog is likely to occur at places over the country during late night to morning.

Meanwhile, Ridge of Sub-continental high extends upto West Bengal and adjoining area.

So, a Cyclonic storm “PABUK” lies over Gulf of Thailand and adjoining area. It is likely to emerge into South Andaman Sea next 24 hours.

Country's maximum temperature recorded yesterday 28.6 degree Celsius at Teknaf of Chattogram division and today's minimum temperature recorded 5.9 degree Celsius at Tetulia of Rangpur division.

Today's Sunset at Dhaka will be at 5:25 pm and Sunrise tomorrow 6:42 am.
