Night, day temp may rise; Dry weather likely

Night and day temperature may rise slightly while the weather may remain dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours ending tomorrow at 9:00 am.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted this in a weather bulletin issued on Monday.
Accroding to the Met Office weather forecast, Light fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country during the early morning.
“Night temperature may rise in the next 72 hours,” the bulletin added.
A trough of low has been lying over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area, resulting in the seasonal low lies over South Bay.
The country’s maximum temperature recorded 33.2°C yesterday at Sitakunda in the Chattogram division while today’s minimum temperature recorded 11.5°C at Srimangal in Sylhet division.
