Video streaming service Netflix has increased the monthly subscription charges for standard and premium packages.
From now on, customers will have to pay $13.99 per month for standard services, which charged $12.99 previously. The premium package is set at $15.99 to $17.99.
Netflix subscribers will have to pay the extended price within the next two months, the company told CNBC.
The company will issue a warning to the customers 30 days before the new price comes into effect, the company added.
However, the monthly fee for entry-level basic services remains the same at $8.99.
