Nasim`s surgery successful

Former Health and Family Welfare Minister and the convenor for the 14-party ruling alliance Mohammad Nasim underwent a successful surgery on Friday after suffering a stroke. He has been kept at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in the hospital after the surgery.
Awami League's Deputy Office Secretary Biplab Barua confirmed the information to Daily Bangladesh.
Nasim suffered a brain haemorrhage early today. He was subsequently rushed into surgery at Bangladesh Specialised Hospital in Shyamoli in the capital.
Earlier on Monday, Nasim was admitted to Bangladesh Specialised Hospital in Shyamoli with shortness of breathing. Later, he tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
