NU to change curriculum

The National University (NU) is going to change its curriculum. In the meantime, initiatives have been taken to include various career-oriented courses in the curriculum. Honors final year students and Masters students will be able to do career-oriented courses.

According to NU sources, the University has held two meetings to include career-oriented courses in the curriculum. The decision of the meeting also gave the responsibility to the Deans of the National University to examine the possibility of including career-oriented courses in the curriculum.

National University Vice-Chancellor Professor Md. Mashiur Rahman said there are plans to change the curriculum and include vocational education. Honors and Masters, as well as short courses and diploma courses, may be included. Such as ICT, language, fisheries, agro-processing, etc. courses. However, the courses have not been specified yet.
