Mymensingh reports 81 new COVID-19 cases

81 more people including doctor and journalist, have been identified as COVID-19 positives on Mymensingh division.
The record number of positive patients was detected in a day in the Mymensingh division by testing 376 samples in two machines. Earlier, there was a record of 63 people being infected.
Among the newly identified are 49 including two doctors from Mymensingh Sadar, five from Ishwarganj Upazila, five including a journalist from Trishal Upazila, four from Nandail Upazila; means total 63 from the district. In addition, four from Jamalpur District Sadar, three from Netrokona District Sadar, six from Kendua, four from Mohanganj and one from Purbadhala were tested positive for the virus.
A total of 1,146 people has been infected in Mymensingh division so far. Among them 564 in Mymensingh district, 244 in Jamalpur district, 254 in Netrokona district and 84 in Sherpur district.
So far 434 people have returned home after recovery in four districts of the division.
A total of 13 people died in the division. Of them, six are in Mymensingh district, four in Jamalpur district, two in Netrokona district and one in Sherpur.
