Mushroom is a healthy and quite popular meal among the vegetables in recent times. Mushroom is rich in selenium, which is a powerful anti-oxidant. It also contains polysaccharides, low carb which is very useful for diabetics.

Various types of mushrooms are available in the market. However, white, portobello mushrooms are often better for diabetics. Let’s know the recipe of Mushroom Soup for Diabetes Patients -

Ingredients: 1 cup of button mushroom, 1 cup of milk, 2 tablespoons of wheat flour, 1 tablespoon of onion, salt as per taste, 2 cups of water, 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Recipe: Wash and slice the mushrooms well. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions and mushrooms slightly. Mix the flour with water. Boil well and cool down. Now blend the mixture thoroughly with milk. Boil the mixture with the same pan. Then serve hot mushroom soup down.
