Mushfiqur sustained hand injury; Crack found in index finger

Mushfiqur Rahim, the wicketkeeper-batsman of the national team and captain of Abahani Limited, suffered a hand injury while playing in the current edition of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL). As a result, he will not be able to play the rest of the DPL matches due to injury.
Mushfiqur has been ruled out of the rest of the tournament due to an injury sustained in his last match against the Gazi Group Cricketers. Later, the distal phalanges of the left index finger of the batsman were found to be cracked.
Bangladesh team will visit Zimbabwe soon. Mushfiqur is scheduled to play in at least two formats in this three-format tour. For this, the doctors have advised Mushfiqur to rest for the time being, giving priority to the national team game.
It is learned that Mushfiqur will rest for a week before the Zimbabwe series. Then the rehabilitation process will start.
Abahani Limited physio Enamul Haque told the media that there was a crack in Mushfiqur’s left index finger. He has to rest for a week. Rehabilitation will start from the second week. As a result, he is not playing in the DPL title matches.
