Murray`s French Open hopes crushed in opening round

Andy Murray started the tournament as one of the favorites for the title of French Open. However, the British star has crushed in the first round to Wawrinka in three sets in a row.
Murray started the journey with the French Open after returning from injury. He lost Monday's match by 6-1, 6-3, 6-2.
Murray had never experienced such a big loss in a Grand Slam tournament before. The tennis star lost to Rafael Nadal 6-3, 6-2, 6-1 in the 2014 French Open.
Murray was back on a clay court for the first time since his hip problems flared up in 2017. He was passing through a hard time. The injury was so severe that Murray once thought to retire from the game. He finally returned to the tennis court. However, the experience of returning to the French Open was not pleasant at all.
