Murder case accused held at Dhaka airport

A youth named Md. Hridoy accused in a case over the killing of a man in Cumilla's Meghna was detained by the members of immigration police from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday afternoon.
However, the detained Hridoy was on fleeing when he caught for Mohiuddin murder case, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Meghna Police Station Nazir Hossain, investigating the murder case, confirmed the matter on Saturday.
The SI said that as the accused was preparing to flee abroad, the Special Branch of Police (Immigration) were informed to arrest on November 16 and about three months later, the accused was arrested by the immigration police at Dhaka airport on Friday afternoon.
Later, the Meghna Police Station was informed and then SI Nazir Hossain arrested him with allied forces and took the accused in Meghna around 1:30 am on Saturday.
It is reported that the drug dealer Golam Mohiuddin was beaten to death in a village salish (arbitration) at Meghna on November 12 last year.
