‘Restriction on movement’ for coronavirus till Aug 31

The government has extended the restriction on public movement till August 31 due to the prevailing situation of the coronavirus outbreak in the country. A gazette notification has been issued by the Cabinet on Monday in this regard.
A memorandum signed by Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet Mohammad Abdul Wadud Chowdhury informed the matter, saying, “It talks about 10 topics.”
These include - the restriction will continue until August 31, 2020, and weekly holidays.
The office order said that one cannot come out of the residence from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am unless emergency (necessary purchase and sale, commute to work, emergency services, purchase of medicines, medical services, burial /funeral, etc.)
Besides, masks should be worn at all times while going outside and other hygiene rules should be followed including maintaining mutual distance.
Hat bazaar, shops etc. should be extra vigilant and instructions have been given to close by 8:00 pm.
It has also been informed that public and private offices will remain open in compliance with the hygiene rules.
