Motorcycle accident kills 2 women in Banani

Two women were killed in a motorcycle (scooty) accident on Tuesday night around 1:00 am in front of the Banani Bridge in the capital.
The pedestrians later were rescued and taken them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared them dead.
The deceased were identified as Duldana Akhter Ruchi, a Territory Officer at Pearl International and Sonia, daughter of Ruhul Amin of Machdelcharia of Bhola.
Banani Police Station SI Afzal said, “On information around 1:30 am, police went to the spot and recovered the scooty. Scooty’s number plate (Dhaka Metro Ha 24-4283) was written as ‘Press’. However, they are believed to be not journalists.”
The doctors declared them dead when the two women were brought to DMCH with serious injuries. The bodies were kept at the hospital morgue, said Bachchu Mia, in-charge of the DMCH police outpost.
