Mother died to stop daughters’ quarrel in Barishal

An elderly mother has died while trying to stop a quarrel between two sisters over mango collection in Barishal's Gauranadi. Police have detained one person in the incident.
The incident took place at Baradulali village in Khanjapur UP in the upazila on Monday night.
The deceased Zarina Begum was identified as the wife of Saheb Ali Bepari of the same village.
According to the relatives of the deceased, the fifth daughter Laiju Begum had a quarrel with Fatema Begum, the eldest daughter of Saheb Ali, over the mango collection from the tree in their father's house. Fatima's son Bachchu was also at the spot. At that time Zarina went ahead to stop the quarrel while at one point, Bachchu pushed her and she was fallen down to die on the spot.
Gauranadi Model Police station OC Golam Chharwar said that the body was recovered and sent to the morgue of Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital. Laiju has been detained in that incident, however, Fatema and her son Bachchu escaped.
