Mother's case against father for child murder

A case has been filed with Shahbagh police station for killing two-year-old Nur Safayet in the capital's Banglamotor. Safayet’s mother Maliha Akhter, filed a case against the father Nuruzzaman Kajol.
Ramna division's Deputy Commissioner (DC) Maruf Hossain Sardar said that the case was filed on Wednesday night by Safayet's mother yesterday. Accordingly, the next proceeding of the case will be run.
Police on Wednesday surrounded the house after hearing that a father had kept hostage two children in a house at Link Road, Banglamotor.
Later, RAB, police, Ansar and Fire Service rescued the body of Safayet and detained his father from the house.
