Mominul requires surgery

Bangladesh Test captain Mominul Haque has been ruled out of the Bangabandhu T20 Cup after injuring his finger. It is learned that the injury is very serious, as a result, the batsman will have to undergo surgery.
Confirming the matter, BCB chief physician Dr. Debashis Chowdhury said Muminul has to undergo surgery. “His treatment will start soon,” he added.
Mominul injured his index finger of his right hand while fielding in the match against Gemcon Khulna in Bangabandhu T20 Cup on Saturday. After scanning the injured finger, he found out that there were serious fractures. As a result, he is ruled out of the Bangabandhu T20 Cup. He was not seen in the team practice on Sunday.
In their first match in Bangabandhu T20 Cup, Mominul scored 8 runs from 3 balls against Beximco Dhaka. In the next match, he played an innings of 5 runs from 7 balls against Gemcon Khulna.
