Moderate cold wave sweeping over Panchagarh, Kurigram

The moderate cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Panchagarh & Kurigram and it may continue in the next 24 hours ending at 9:00 am tomorrow, said a met office release issued on Monday morning.

Besides, a mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Moulovibazar, Rajshahi, Dinajpur, Nilphamari & Chuadanga and it also may continue during the period, the release added.

However, weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during midnight to morning.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The highest temperature in the country was recorded yesterday 29.0 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda in Chattogram division and today’s minimum temperature of 07.3 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.

The sun sets at 5.32 pm today and rises at 6.44 am tomorrow in the capital.
