Missing man fell into Mirpur drain rescued alive after 6hrs

The fire service has rescued the missing man who fell into a canal beside a 22-storey garment in the Kalshi area of the capital’s Mirpur on Wednesday morning.
After a six-hour of findings, the fire service divers rescued the man around 3 pm on Thursday.
Earlier in the morning, the man went missing after falling into a drain at Kalshi in Mirpur.
Witnesses said he was “taking a bath” under the Kalshi Bridge in the morning. The locals believe that the person was “mentally unstable”.
According to the fire service, the man fell into a drain next to the 22-storey garment in Kalshi. Witnesses then tried to rescue him as well as informed the fire service and local police. Two units of the fire service managed to rescue the man alive after a six-hour effort.
Earlier, a college student named Sadia slipped and fell into a drain on her way home from Agrabad in Chattogram around 10:15 pm on September 26. The fire service recovered her body 5 hours after she went missing.
