Missing Child`s body found 100 meters away from house

The body of Shihab, a six years old boy from Pubail of Gazipur, has been found 100 meters away from their house. 

His body was recovered from the collapsible gate,100 meters away from his house in Ward No. 40 of the Metropolitan Police Station in Pubail on Sunday morning.

The deceased Shihab is the son of Jewel of Majukhan Uttarpara area of Ward No-40 of Metropolitan Police Station.

Earlier, Shihab went missing on Saturday afternoon. After searching all day, his father Jewel filed a general diary with the Pubail police station following his son's disappearance at night.  

It is learned that on Sunday morning, the neighbors saw Shihab's body lying next to Salam Munshi's house and informed his grandfather Siraj Mia. Later being informed police recovered the body.

It is learned that 6-7 months ago, Shihab's mother leave the home following a family dispute. Since then, Shihab used to live with his father and grandparents.

Shihab's mother Hena Begum worked in an embroidery factory in the embankment area and lived separately in a rented house in the same area. Jewel opened a Photoshop studio in Majukhan Bazaar. 

Jewel said to indulgence his son he and Shihab roaming around by his bike different areas of Pubail on Saturday morning. Who knew this will be Shihab's last outing with me. 

"I was born here but I don't understand who would torture and kill my innocent child. I demand exemplary punishment," he said.

Pubail Police Station OC Mohidul Islam said the child's body was sent to Gazipur Shahid Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital for autopsy. Legal action will be taken after investigation.
