Mild to moderate cold wave likely to continue

Mild to moderate cold wave may continue in the next 24 hour ending tomorrow 9:00 am, said the met office in weather bulletin on Saturday morning.

According to met weather bulletin, Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Mymensingh division and the regions of Faridpur, Tangail, Madaripur, Gopalgonj, Rajshahi, Pabna, Dinajpur, Panchagarh, Moulvibazar, Sayedpur, Satkhira, Jashore, Chuadanga, Barishal, & Bhola and it may continue.

In the meantime, weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.

However, light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country from midnight to morning.

Besides, night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Meanwhile, a ridge of Sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and adjoining area. So, seasonal low lies over South Bay.

Country’s maximum temperature recorded 27.3 degree Celsius yesterday at Sitakunda of Chattogram divisions while today’s minimum temperature recorded 7.3 degree Celsius at Chuadanga of Khulna divisions.

Today Sunsets at Dhaka will be 5:30 pm and tomorrow Sunrise at Dhaka will be 6:44 am.
