Microbus carrying 5 passengers falls into Padma

A microbus carrying five people plunged into the Padma river at Paturia Ghat area in Manikganj.
However, all of them have been rescued alive. The fire service rescued them after the incident around 9:30 am on Thursday.
According to the Aricha Fire Service, the ferry service has been suspended after 12:00 am due to heavy fog. The ferry service resumed at around 8:00 am as the fog disappeared. The microbus fell into the river as its driver lost control over the steering while parking before reaching the platoon at Ghat No. 5 around 9:30 am.
On information, two units of the fire service rushed to the spot and rescued the five people alive.
Manikganj Aricha fire station officer Md Mujibur Rahman has confirmed the information.
