Metro rail’s 12 more bogies, coaches arrived at Mongla

The ship ‘MV SPM Bangkok’ arrived at Mongla port with eight more bogies and two sets of four-engine coaches of metro rail from Port of Kobe in Japan.
The Thai-flagged ship docked at the port at 10:30 am on Saturday, confirmed Sheikh Fakhar Uddin, harbor master commander of Mongla Port Authority.
The ship, which left the Port of Kobe in Japan on September 14, also carried 32 other packages of equipment besides Metrorail bogies.
Earlier, a total of 34 Metrorail bogies on four foreign ships arrived at Mongla port. The experimental trial of the dream Metro Rail from Uttara to Pallabi started on August 29.
