Met Office predicts rain in next 72 hrs

As an outlook for the next 72 hours, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday predicted: "Rainfall activity is likely."
The Met Office also forecasted that a mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Srimangal, Pabna, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Panchagarh and Chuadanga and it may continue in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today.
The weather may remain dry with the temporary partly cloudy sky over the country during th period, said a Met office release issued this morning.
Besides, moderate to thick fog may occur over the country during midnight to morning and it may continue till noon at places over the northern part of the country.
Meanwhile, night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature was recorded yesterday by 28.6 degrees Celsius at Teknaf under Chattogram division and today's minimum temperature was recorded by 8.5 degree Celsius at Tetulia under Rangpur division.
Today’s sunset in Dhaka at 5:35 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise at 6:43 am.
