Met Office forecasts rain for 3 days

As an outlook for the next 72 hours or three days, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Tuesday predicted: "Rain or thunder showers is likely to continue."
The Met Office also forecasted light to moderate rain or thunder showers at many places over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today.
"Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Chattogram, Khulna and Barishal with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions," said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.

The maximum temperature in the country on Friday was recorded 35.5 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi while today’s minimum temperature is 19.0 degrees Celsius at Dimla in Rangpur.
The highest rainfall in the last 24-hour as of 6:00 am today was recorded at 75 mm in Mymensingh.
