Two brothers were killed as a medicine-laden vehicle hit a motorcycle in Satkhira. The accident took place on Saturday night in front of Kumira Women College in Patkelghata.

The deceased were identified as Ashish Kumar Mandal, son of Madar Mandal of Shakdah village under Patkelghata Police Station and Mukund Kumar Mandal, son of Shivpada Mandal of the same village. They are cousin ​​brothers.

Patelghata Police Station Officer-in-Charge Kazi Wahid said that Ashish and Mukund were returning home on a motorcycle from Mirzapur area of ​​Patkelghata. When they arrived in front of Kumira Woman College, a medicine-laden vehicle knocked down their vehicle, leaving them seriously injured. 

Later, locals rescued them in critical condition and took them to Sadar Hospital where doctors declared them dead.
