Mashrafe to lead BCB XI in practice match against Windies

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have announced a 13-member BCB XI squad for the practice match against the West Indies with Tamim Iqbal making a comeback into competitive cricket after injury had sidelined him for the series against Zimbabwe and the Test series against the Windies.

Bangladesh ODI captain Mashrafe, who wants to get back into the flow of things as he prepares for the West Indies ODI series will lead the BCB XI team at the BKSP on December 6 against the visitors, hoping to get some much-needed match practice before the ODI series against the Windies, scheduled for December 9. BCB included a lot of key players in the squad. Imrul Kayes, Soumya Sarkar, Rubel Hossain, and Nazmul Islam will feature alongside U-19 youth players like Mrittunjoy Chowdhury, Akbar Shahin Alam and Tawhid Hridoy.
