Mashrafe recovers from COVID-19

Former Bangladesh national cricket team captain and Narail-2 MP Mashrafe bin Mortaza, has recovered from epidemic coronavirus. However, his wife Sumi is still COVID-19 positive. 

Mashrafe himself confirmed the matter on his verified Facebook page on Tuesday night.

Mashrafe wrote in a Facebook post, "Assalamu Alaikum. Hope everybody is well. Alhamdulillah. By the grace of Allah and with the blessings of all of you, the result of my Connorvirus test has been negative. I got to know the results tonight. I am grateful to all those who have been by my side all this time, who have prayed, many have been anxious and have sought out or tried in various ways".

Regarding his wife, "Mashrafe wrote, "More than two weeks have passed since my wife contracted the virus, but still her test result is positive. But with the blessings of all, she is doing well. I am seeking prayer for her".

Mashrafe further wrote, "I have recovered taking treatment at home. Those who have been attacked, everyone will have courage. Put your trust in Allah. Follow the rules. Everyone will be safe, well. Together we must continue to fight against the coronavirus. May Allah bless you all".

The country's best captain tested positive for Covid-19 on June 20. He also tested positive for the second time after 14 days.

On June 23, Morsalin bin Mortaza, Mashrafe's younger brother, also tested positive. Then Mashrafe's wife contracted coronavirus. Earlier, Mashrafe's mother-in-law and elder sister-in-law were diagnosed with Coronavirus.
