Where marksheet not available without money!

The students just passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations of Dilpashar Union High School in Pabna's Bhangura upazila have been faced the illegal impediment as they being asked to pay tk 200-300 for getting marksheet, testimonial (when they trying to admit to the colleges) allegedly by Afsar Ali Rana, headmaster of the school.
However, the allegation has been also raised that if the demanded money not met then the marksheet, testimonial also not given.
Regarding this incident a total of six students of the school in the upazila lodged a written complaint with the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) on Thursday while they demanded that UNO must take steps to provide marksheet and testimonial.
Among the students who passed the SSC examinations at Dilpashar Union High School in 2019, six students named Suruj, Mehedi Hasan, Swadhin, Mizan, Rajib and Johnny have lodged a written complaint with the UNO, complaining that the headmaster did not give them the marksheets and testimonials without money.
One student claimed that after getting the opportunity to get admission in the college, he went to the school for marksheets and testimonials. At that time the headmaster of the school Afsar Ali Rana collected tk 300 from him. But the student when asked for a receipt for the money, Mr. Ali called him (student) ' undisciplined '. This has caused extreme anger among students and parents.
Some parents said that despite the financial amid coronavirus, they were forced to take their children's marksheets and testimonials with the money as the headmaster had said.
Though it was tried repeatedly to contact Mr. Ali's he did not receive a call.
Saiful Alam, Bhangura Upazila Secondary Education Officer, said, "I have heard of taking money for distributing marksheets and testimonials against the headmaster of the school. The proper steps will be taken after discussing the matter with UNO."
Syed Ashrafuzzaman, UNO of Bhangura Upazila, said, "Some students had complained to me. I will take action after investigating this matter."
